Hi, I'm Caroline Rains. As a therapist licensed in WA and CA, I want to help you figure out what you want in life. I specialize in helping clients see what is working and what isn't. I use a variety of modalities in a customized approach to get you to where you want to be.

My Story
Back in 2004 after graduating from University of California, Santa Cruz, I began helping adults with developmental disabilities learn life and job skills. For several years I worked providing service coordination and case management to low income seniors, helping them age in place.
Starting as a pre-licensed therapist in 2011 shortly before graduating with an MA in Counseling Psychology, experience was gained across a variety of settings supporting children, families, and adults. This included private practice work with children and families, home-based support for children with developmental disabilities, court-mandated domestic violence psychoeducation groups, and service at Medi-Cal agencies.
After obtaining licensure in 2014, a private practice was established in Campbell, CA, serving clients through both in-person and telehealth sessions ever since. Services are now available in person in Auburn for adults and children ages 7 and up, alongside telehealth throughout California and Washington for ages 12 and up.
This broad background brings a deep understanding of what works, what doesn't, and what it takes for clients to step forward toward real change. The goal is to offer the credentials, experience, and care needed to help guide your next steps.
